agro-Forestry

The Agroforestry project, launched in 2021 and expanded in 2025, supports rural farmers especially women, youth, the elderly, and people with disabilities through tree planting, conservation farming, and climate-smart practices to promote environmental sustainability and improve livelihoods.

Empowering rural communities through tree planting, conservation farming, and climate-smart practices for a greener future.

What is the Agroforestry Project?

Who We Work With

We support rural farmers willing to plant trees and practice agroforestry, including:

  • 🌿 Women

  • 🌳 Youth

  • 🌾 Elderly

  • 🌱 People with disabilities

The Agroforestry project aims to promote sustainable tree-growing practices among rural farmers. The pilot phase ran from 2021 to 2022, and the full-scale project began in January 2025. Through tree planting and conservation farming, we help farmers improve their land and create a more sustainable environment.

🔥 Lorena Stove Construction & Promotion

  • Building energy-efficient stoves to reduce deforestation and improve household energy efficiency.

🛡 Tree Management & Pest Control

  • Teaching best practices in tree care, pest control, and sustainable land management.

🌍 Climate-Smart & Environmental Practices

  • Encouraging communities to adopt sustainable environmental solutions.
