JLH partners with organizations like UCLF, FAST, BMS, and KCS to enhance justice, health, and community transformation. These collaborations provide legal aid, speech and hearing services, faith-driven development, and child safeguarding to empower and uplift communities.
Uganda Christian Lawyers’ Fraternity (UCLF)
Uganda Christian Lawyers’ Fraternity (UCLF), founded in 1986 and registered as an NGO in 2005, consists of over 500 legal professionals. They partner with JLH to support its mission of securing human rights and access to justice. UCLF provides free services, including civil and legal aid, community legal education (such as child protection training in schools), and criminal representation for JLH beneficiaries, all at no cost.
Faith Audiology and Speech Therapy organization (FAST)
JLH partners with Faith Audiology and Speech Therapy (FAST), a nonprofit organization founded in 2017, to provide speech and language therapy, ear screening, hearing tests, and rehabilitation services in Gulu, Uganda. FAST also educates the community on communication disabilities and hearing health. Since 2017, JLH has collaborated with FAST to support individuals with communication difficulties in the region.
BMS World Mission
BMS World Mission is a Christian organization working in over 30 countries to help people experience fullness of life in Jesus. They partner with JLH to strengthen churches, alleviate poverty, improve health, relieve suffering, and restore hope and dignity. Both organizations share common objectives and values in advancing God’s mission and transforming communities through their collaborative efforts.
Keeping Children Safe (KCS)
Keeping Children Safe (KCS) is a UK-registered organization that partners with groups committed to safeguarding children and advocating against child abuse. KCS collaborates with JLH to share best practices, provide advice, and engage in network activities to strengthen safeguarding efforts. They aim to expand their influence by inviting new organizations to join the network and contribute their expertise.
