Implementation
of CCMP

In 2023, JLH adopted the Church and Community Mobilization Process (CCMP) to equip local churches in Uganda with the tools to drive holistic and sustainable community transformation. The program was piloted in Gulu and Kasese, engaging multiple denominations in a collaborative effort to address social and economic challenges through biblical-based training. By 2024, JLH had mobilized 40 churches, trained 50 facilitators, and envisioned over 250 local leaders to implement CCMP, impacting thousands through Bible studies and capacity-building initiatives.

What CCMP Is All About

Church and community mobilisation is the act of enabling a local church to mobilise the community in which it is based to meet its own needs. Local church members are envisioned and trained so that they can carry out participatory development with their communities.

The objective of church and community mobilisation is to empower people to transform their situation using their own God-given resources in a sustainable and holistic way.

JLH Uganda envisions awakened, God-fearing, healthy, and empowered churches and communities, fully equipped for holistic evangelism and outreach ministry. Through CCMP, we are fostering spiritual growth, leadership development, and sustainable transformation, ensuring that churches become catalysts for positive change in their communities.
